Jerry Granelli (1940–2021), the innovative drummer known for his work with Vince Guaraldi (including the Peanuts soundtracks) and Mose Allison, led UFB—a quartet featuring dual guitarists Christian Kögel and Kai Brückner, plus bassist Andreas Walter. This mid-90s project blends jazz fusion with rock energy, funky grooves, and atmospheric textures, drawing from unconventional covers (Bruce Hornsby, Thelonious Monk, Jimi Hendrix) alongside originals.
